Douglas Schulman
Douglas has an intense passion for learning and teaching about wine. After earning the Castello Banfi Award for highest score on the Certified Wine Educator exam, Douglas went on to earn the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits. His teaching experience includes a broad range of topics and experience levels: introductory courses for novices, professional education for dedicated retail staff, deep dives on specific topics for groups of committed enthusiasts, and high level seminars, including refinement of the deductive process of blind tasting, among many other examples. Douglas thoroughly enjoys helping everyone get to the next step in their wine education journey, whatever that is for them. Douglas also serves as Education Coordinator and Co-Chair of the Boston Sommelier Society.
