Born and raised in Newfoundland, reputed for its friendly people and harsh climate, with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, Tracey’s wine career like Mark’s, was also unlikely. Thrilled by the experience of being transported to another time and place through a sniff of wine, Tracey found herself as an OT moonlighting at her local wine shop in Vancouver for her first employment in wine. Following a Bordeaux wine tour in 2010, Tracey, charmed by the region and its wines, returned a year later as a student in Bordeaux’s MBA wine program. Ten years later, Tracey has firmly rooted herself in Bordeaux and has gained extensive knowledge of the land and its people through roles in education, consultation, export, and marketing. She is thrilled to have the opportunity with her great friend Mark, through eMpTy bottle, to share with you Bordeaux’s best wines and the stories that are their natural companions.
