Helen Moore, J.D., DipWSET
Helen Moore is a native St. Louisan who developed her interest in wine during her extensive travels throughout Europe. Finding good wine to be so accessible, it was in France that she developed her palate and keen interest in French wine. Also having fallen in love with French cuisine and pastry, Helen later earned a pastry arts certificate with honors from Newbury College. Helen is especially interested in the wines of Bordeaux and Champagne and is pursuing her French Wine Scholar certification.
Helen earned a B.S. in Marketing-Management from Bentley University and a J.D. from Syracuse University. She completed her WSET Diploma with Merit in 2022, and continues to practice law in the Federal sector. In addition to teaching, Helen is a part-time sales associate at The Urban Grape in Boston.
Helen plans to combine her love of travel, photography and writing in an upcoming wine blog, and currently shares her impressions of wine and her photography on Instagram @highdesertlotus and @ephemeralgrape.
