Joel has worked an extensive career in the restaurant industry, for both Capital Grille and Legal Seafoods. For the past several years he has been the Sommelier at Legal Harborside in Seaport, Boston, and is now that location's Beverage Manager. He has operated dozens of large-scale wine dinners for major wine producers in the Harborside Dining Room. During some Covid down-time he was a buyer and consultant for retail stores on the North Shore, identifying which wines were appropriate for their various store strengths.
Over the last few years, he has been taking classes with WSET and recently completed his Diploma in Wine and Spirits. He has had the pleasure of leading hundreds of blind tastings with servers and wine lovers, and he is honored to be involved in teaching with the Commonwealth Wine School.
