The American Northeast: New York and New England [May 20]
Friday, May 20th, 6:00-7:30pm
How much do you really know about the history of the American wine industry? This last class in the series will finish off where American wine began: the East. Virginia and the Northeast are putting the East back on the wine map and are currently poised to break through to international markets. This class will showcase the wine regions in Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, and Virginia. We’ll discuss the history and the future of these regions, while tasting fantastic wines and examining the terroir of these up-and-coming AVAs.
You can choose to take this course in person at Commonwealth Wine School or online. If you choose the online option, we will provide you with tasting lists so that you may purchase wine to taste along at home.
