Beyond California: US Wine Regions and Grapes to Know and Love [Dec 4]
Saturday, December 4th, 6:30 - 8pm
When most of us think of wine production in the United States, California with its famous wine regions of Napa, Sonoma, and Paso Robles usually comes to mind. But wine is made in all fifty states. Join us for a whirlwind tour of some of the lesser known US wine regions like Kansas, Iowa, Hawaii, and even Massachusetts. We’ll taste delicious red and white wines from several states and learn about the American and French hybrid grapes that make them along with wines from traditional varietals like Syrah and Chardonnay, that have found success outside of California.
