Classic Regions of Spain and Portugal [Dec 11]

Spain and Portugal have been producing wine for over a thousand years. Though the classic Iberian wine regions each have their own distinct styles, they have undergone an interesting metamorphosis over the last few decades.
This class will uncover the fascinating history of Iberia’s greatest wine regions, explore their journeys to modernization, and discuss their unique grape varieties and wine styles while tasting exemplary wines along the way. We’ll finish off by taking a look at how these regions are adapting to a changing climate, and what to expect from their wines in the future.
You can choose to take this course in person at Commonwealth Wine School or online. If you choose the online option, we will provide you with tasting lists so that you may purchase wine to taste along at home.
