Eat the Boot - Exploring Italian Wine and Cheese [Jan 16]

Saturday, January 16th, 6pm-8pm

Few countries in the world can boast of their wine and cheese the way Italy can. Not only in number, but in quality. From the northern mountains to the seascapes of Sicily, Italy is nearly unmatched when it comes to rich, flavorful cheeses and wines that make them even better.

Join educator and writer (and formaggio paisano) Adam Centamore for an evening getting to know some of the best wines and cheeses of Italy. You'll sample a wide range of cheeses from all over the mainland and the islands - each example a study in master cheesemaking, reflecting centuries of tradition and skill. Paired with these magical morsels will be equally impressive wines. Full-bodied and captivating, Italy's wines were made for food. We'll talk about where these delicacies come from, how they're made, and how to best enjoy them.

It's sure to be a night of tasty exploration and learning. Let's eat the boot!

This class will be held Online through Zoom. Tasting Kits are available for pick up at our school if you select the Online with Tasting Kit registration option. For those who wish to purchase their own wines, lists will be provided ahead of time so that you may taste along at home.
