Wine and chocolate are two of the world's favorite treats, and pairing them together can be an ambrosial experience. When it comes to spectacular morsels of chocolate and sips of incredible wines, it's tough to argue with how the Europeans do it. Swiss chocolatiers with their rich, milky bars, or Italian confectioners making exquisite dark chocolates loaded with flavor and complexity...there are so many amazing options available. It's time to get to know them better.
Spend an evening with culinary educator and writer (and cacao addict) Adam Centamore exploring European wine & chocolate pairings! You'll sample incredibly made chocolates from across Europe, perfectly paired with regional wines that are sure to make an impression. You'll learn how each of these treats is made, tips & tricks on how to create pairings of your own, and the best ways to enjoy these morsels every day. It's sure to be a night of pure delight.
You can choose to take this class at Commonwealth Wine School or Online through Zoom. Tastings are provided as part of the in-person class, or available for pick up at our school if you select the Online with Tasting Kit registration option. If you would like your kit shipped to you, please pay for shipping here. For those who choose to register for the online class only, tasting lists will be provided ahead of time so that you may taste along at home.
