France: The Loire Valley [January 14]
Friday, January 14th, 6:30-8pm
The Loire Valley is arguably one of France’s most beautiful wine regions. A journey along the 250-mile stretch from Nantes to Sancerre takes you through the famed appellations and incredible chateaux that have been known for their stellar wines since the French royalty called this area home.
This class will travel the length of the Loire, discuss the history and styles of the regions here, and of course include a tasting of some classic Loire wines.
You can choose to take this class at Commonwealth Wine School or Online through Zoom. Tastings are provided as part of the in-person class, or available for pick up at our school if you select the Online with Tasting Kit registration option. If you would like your kit shipped to you, please pay for shipping here (please note that you will need to pay for shipping TWICE for this class as there are 4 tasting kits). For those who choose to register for the online class only, wine lists will be provided ahead of time so that you may taste along at home.
