Smuggler's Run: Wine, Cheese, & Treats from the Kingdom of the Sun (Oct 15)

Every once in a while an opportunity presents itself that is simply too good to pass up. Our intrepid wine & cheese educator Adam Centamore just returned from Barcelona, Spain. While there, a few calls were made, a few doors were knocked on, and, well, things happened. He returned home with a bunch of amazing cheese and snacks. So we're calling an emergency class session to enjoy the fruits of Adam's "labors".
Why the emergency? It's the cheese! Adam spent an afternoon with a "cheesemaker rock star hero" from Tarragona who lives in a town with only 20 people (he met seven of them). One thing led to another, and Adam was able to...ahem..."bring home" some cheeses that will never, ever see North America. These beauties have an extremely short lifespan, and so action must be taken.
Join us for an evening sampling an array of delicious morsels from Catalunya. We'll have lauded Cava from Penedès, confections from a centuries-old turrón producer in Barcelona, and other regional delights while learning what makes this region such an incredible source of food and drinks. Take a last-minute trip on a culinary adventure to the Kingdom of the Sun!
