Smuggler’s Run - Wine, Cheese, & Treats from Piemonte [September 29]
Friday, September 29, 6:30-8pm ET
Every once in a while an opportunity presents itself that is simply too good to pass up. Our intrepid wine & cheese educator Adam Centamore is heading to northern Italy this September to lead a Commonwealth Wine School tour of Piedmont, including a visit to the world-famous Cheese Festival in Bra! After an amazing week of drinking Barolo, Barbaresco, and all the other molto delizioso wines of the region, he's off to Emilia-Romagna. Known locally as "La Grassa" - literally "the fat" for the incredible cuisine there- it will be nothing but 'research' for Adam until it's time to come home.
Anyone who knows Adam knows he'll return with all sorts of delicious morsels only found there to share. Join us for an evening sampling a lineup of tasty treats from two of Italy's most esteemed regions. Of course, equally magnificent regional Italian wines will be served to further enjoy the fruits of Adam's "labor". His toil and trouble are your gain. Join us for an evening getting to know northern Italy in the tastiest way possible!
