Under the Harvest Moon [Oct 15]

Fall is time when we try to hold on to summer as long as possible and then celebrate the first bracing frost in the air. As the leaves transform into halos of gold and red and we begin to pick apples, wear sweaters and socks again, and think about buying wood for the fireplace, we should also think about what wines to drink. What goes with butternut squash ravioli and roasted parsnips with their sweet undertones but also goes with salty ham and earthy mushroom ragout? What goes with a day of glorious sunshine and warmth that fades to a chilly, clear night? Catching up with friends after a long, lazy summer? Join me in this class to explore both muscular whites and more nubile reds which can pair beautifully with the flavors and moods of the harvest moon.

Tastings are provided as part of the in-person class, or available for pick up at our school if you select the Online with Tasting Kit registration option.
