Walking in a Winter WINEderland [January 4]
Thursday, January 4, 6:30-8pm ET
In the depths of winter, it's hard to get excited about pretty much anything. Night comes way too soon, the weather is awful, and spring seems a long way off. What if we told you things weren't all that bad? That winter was a time for enjoying some of the best food and drink of the year? Heavier foods paired with bolder wines keep the home fires burning.
Spend a cold winter's night with wine & cheese educator (and winter denizen) Adam Centamore exploring the combinations that get us through it all. You'll sample big, rich cheeses from around the world matched with hearty wines that bring out the best in these giants. You'll learn why these combinations are favored in the colder months of the year, as well as how they're made and how best to enjoy them. It's an evening sure to warm the cockles of your heart.
**We will make every effort to accommodate food allergies and/or dietary restrictions, but, due to the fact that we work with small producers from around the globe, we are unable to guarantee or protect from cross contamination**
