Winter Warmers - Wine and Cheese Pairings for Long, Dark, Nights [Feb 18]

Wednesday, February 17th, 6-8pm

In the depths of winter, it's hard to get excited about pretty much anything. Night comes way too soon, the weather is awful, and Spring seems a long way off. What if we told you things weren't all that bad? That winter was a time for enjoying some of the best food and drink of the year? Bigger, heavier dishes paired with richer, bolder wines keep the home fires burning. Few pairings are as satisfying as wine and cheese when it's cold and blustery out, and we're all too happy to share some favorites with you.

Spend a cold winter's night with wine & cheese educator (and winter denizen) Adam Centamore exploring the combinations that get us through it all. You'll sample big, rich cheeses from around the world matched with hearty wines that bring out the best in these giants. You'll learn why these combinations are favored in the colder months of the year, as well as how they're made and how best to enjoy them. It's an evening sure to warm the cockles of your heart. Come enjoy wine and cheese pairings for these long, dark nights!

This class will be held Online through Zoom. Tasting Kits are available for pick up at our school if you select the Online with Tasting Kit registration option. For those who wish to purchase their own wines, cheeses, lists will be provided ahead of time so that you may taste along at home.
