Join us for 5 days in early Summer as we dive deep into the inner workings of Bordeaux - from its trade structure and viticultural practices, to its extraordinary wines at top chateaux. This is the perfect trip for students who have spent their studies immersed in their books, but could benefit from hands on experience. The Study Trip includes:

  • Guided instruction throughout with Bordeaux experts Mark Pygott, MW, and Tracey Dobbin, MW, with support from CWS Director Jessica Sculley, DipWSET and Accredited Bordeaux Tutor.

  • Visits and tastings to renowned chateaux, and meetings with winemakers and producers

  • Transportation to and from Bordeaux

  • Transportation to/from the hotel

  • Food and beverages ordered outside of program

  • All items of a personal nature

ASSUMPTIONS:

All châteaux and restaurants listed in this Itinerary are subject to availability, and will be confirmed once the Booking Form and Terms and Conditions have been returned with deposit for the selected dates.

Availability of requested châteaux and proposed restaurants have not been confirmed.

PAYMENT DETAILS:

Cost: $4750*

Occupancy:

*This rate is based on double occupancy

*There will be a single supplement applied of $500 for those not sharing a room.

Deposit:

A non-refundable deposit of $1250 is due at time of booking

Final Payment:

The balance (based on double occupancy) is due April 15, 2025, or your reservation will be released and the cancellation penalty will be applied.

CANCELLATION FEES:

Should you or any member of your party have to cancel their booking once it has been confirmed, a written notice of cancellation must be given. The effective date for cancellation is the date when we receive a written notice. Cancellation charges will apply and are detailed as follows:

  • Where one or more participants cancel their participation less than 16 weeks prior to the start date but more than 2 weeks from the start date, they will be liable to a cancellation fee of 50%.

  • Less than 2 weeks to the start date, the fee will rise to 100%.

Any increase in price payable as a result of part cancellation and/or sole occupancy, will be indicated on a revised confirmation invoice.
