This qualification is intended for beginners wishing to learn about a wide range of spirits. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important distilled spirits of the world, the variety of distillation processes used, and how the raw materials chosen can affect the resultant spirit. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these spirits with confidence.
This class meets in person at Commonwealth Wine School from 6pm-8pm ET during the dates listed. Tastings are provided as part of the in-person class. All students are given access to our online learning platform which includes recordings of lectures, quizzes, and study tips.
