The ins and outs serving spirits and the use of spirits in cocktails
How techniques used during the 4 steps of production (processing of raw materials, fermentation, distillation, and post-distillation operations) affect the style and quality of spirits, and learn how to describe these spirits with confidence using WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Spirits®.

How does the Online Course work?
The online course is based around a six-week online program with online educator support available for this time. It features 4 live lecture and tasting webinars, recorded lectures, assignments, flashcards, activities, and quizzes and can also be accessed at any time 24/7 during the 6-week session. Students retain access to the online course for 12 months from the course start date.
Each module includes a series of independent activities to help you understand spirits labeling terminology and recognize the styles produced by the different raw materials used in key spirits producing regions and countries.
All students are provided with a physical textbook, workbook, and laminated copy of the WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits SAT. There is a recommendation of six hours study per week to cover the online activities and read the relevant chapters in the textbook.
Regular access and participation in the course online activities is essential for this mode of study. While participation in the webinars is encouraged, it is NOT required, and all webinars will be recorded and posted to the Online Learning Platform.
