Journey to the Grape Unknown [March 13]
Thursday, March 13, 6:30pm-8:30pm ET
There are thousands of grape varieties used for winemaking around the world, yet most of us are only familiar with the most common varieties. Break out of your wine rut and join our Education Director, Erika Frey, for a journey to discover the Grape Unknown!
Leave the realm of Chardonnays and Cabernets behind for the night and explore varieties like Areni, Torrontes, Plavac Mali, and more. Each grape variety has a unique story to be told and will lead us on an adventure to historic and dramatic places around the world. Along the way, Erika will provide basic wine tasting tips so that you can continue your exploration beyond the class!
